Mission Statement

To use creativity and experience to advocate for those with disabilities and dismantle the systems that lead to inaccessibility and ableism

Inspiration

“We will impact industries beyond our own, demonstrating that people with disabilities can efficiently and productively undertake professional work at the highest level and that accessibility is not only right—but also profitable. We want to flip the script and eliminate the single story of people with disabilities, showing that we are neither inspirational nor charity cases, just powerful and ferocious professionals.”

-Mickey Rowe, Former co-executive director of National Disability Theatre

I love this quote so much because of how much this means to me.  As someone who has a physical disability and uses a walker, the possibility of change in the entertainment industry is exciting.  I would love to work with the National Disability Theatre someday!
